Olá a todos,
Sábado 2 de Julho inauguramos mais uma exposição: Naifa de IBIE & EDJINN , a partir das 17h.

Como acreditamos que a união faz a força e move montanhas, esta exposição é o resultado de uma parceria entre a DAMA AFLITA e a S.P.O.T. que através de esforços conjuntos conseguiram trazer pela primeira vez em Portugal esta dupla catalã.
A exposição estará patente até dia 13 de Agosto e pode ser visitada de segunda a sábado entre as 15h e as 19h.

Neste sábado de inauguração e no domingo a seguir (3 de julho) a cave da picaria vai estar ocupada com a primeira samples sale de RICARDO DOURADO.

next Saturday July 2nd, we´ll open a new exhibition: Naifa by IBIE & EDJINN, at 5 p.m.

Since we believe in partnership this exhibition is a joint project between Dama Aflita and SPOT, wich made possible to bring to Portugal for the first time the two catalan artists.

The exhibition will be open until August 13th and can be visited from Monday do Saturday, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

We´ll be waiting for you!

This saturday and following sunday (july 3rd) we´ll host the first samples sale by fashion designer RICARDO DOURADO.

Sobre IBIE & EDJINN

Ibie e Edjinn são dois artistas de Barcelona unidos por dois laços, o primeiro de sangue e o segundo pela pintura. Juntos mostam seu trabalho na rua, em galerias e em revistas de várias cidades tais como San Diego, Mexicali, Taiwan, Barcelona entre outras. Fizeram parte activa na edição e direcção da revista de ilustração low brow Finerats. Fazem parte do grupo de grafitti Bcbruta e trabalham juntos no seu próprio estúdio de ilustração e design, RR Army há onze anos.

Sobre a exposição
Ibie e Edjinn odeiam que o seu estilo seja classificado como Naif já que entendem que esta abordagem é feita por pessoas sem conhecimentos técnicos. Com a exposição Naifa mostram o seu lado mais agressivo e paradoxalmente amável numa série de obras realizadas em técnica mista de pintura e colagem, feitas a duas mãos em exclusivo para a Galeria Dama Aflita.

About IBIE & EDJINN

Ibie & Edjinn are both artists living and working in Barcelona, joint together by their artwork (painting) and brotherhood. Together they show their work onthe streets, in galleries or in magazines form several cities like San Diego, Mexicali, Taiwan, Barcelona, among others. They are actively participating on editing and art direction of the low brow illustration magazine, Finerats. They´re both part of the graffiti collective Bcbruta and develope their commercial work on their own studio of esign and illustration, RR Army, for eleven years.

About the exhibition

Ibie & Edjinn hate to have their style classified as naive since they believe this approach is made by people without technical knowledge. With this exhibition Naifa, they show us their aggressive side and paradoxically their lovely approach in a series of works done in mixed media painting and collage, made by two hands exclusively for Dama Aflita.
